The Wisconsin State Baseball Leauge is proud to announce the launch of our new website at www.wisconsinstateleague.com.
The website features a cleaner design and a less dark theme compared to the last version. The site is fully responsive, so it displays properly on a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone.
“The site was built in a way that will allow it to grow and easily add more features down the line,” site developer C.J. Skelton said. Skelton, who serves as the Vice President of WSL charter member, the Sheboygan A’s, spent a lot of time analyzing a wide range of sports league sites before rebuilding the new WSL site.
“I like to use the WSL site as almost a playground. When new technologies or web trends are introduced that could help enhance the user experience, I usually try to incorporate them into the WSL site, which is why the WSL site seems to get a facelift every two years or so,” Skelton said.
Skelton has been in charge of the WSL website since 2007 and has also built sites for the A’s, Oshkosh Giants and De Pere Dodgers, all of the State League.
The new website features a more complete listing of league alumni who have reached professional baseball, showcasing the quality and history of the League.
The League, after a full year, has adopted the Game Changer game scoring program, which allows games to be scored and seen in real time. The entire league schedule is now hosted with Game Changer.
Fans can also connect directly through the various social media outlets of the WSL, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
