Tuesday Recap: Lombard and Sheboygan Pull Out Big Wins

The Kenosha Kings are handed their first loss by the Lombard Orioles, while the Sheboygan A's hold onto a win over the Oshkosh Giants.

LOMBARD, IL – The Kenosha Kings were handed their first loss in the Wisconsin State League Tuesday night by the Lombard Orioles.
Lombard went on to beat Kenosha 8-2.
The biggest inning for the Orioles came in the sixth inning, scoring three runs. The Orioles scored on a single from Jeremy Quade and Mike Mateja.
Lombard collected 12 hits in the game. Mateja and Quade each had multiple hits and drove home two runs.
Brandon Nowak earned the win for the Orioles, while Kyle Cibrario took the loss for Kenosha.
Sheboygan A’s 9, Oshkosh Giants 3
SHEBOYGAN, WI- The Sheboygan A’s walked away with a big win over the Oshkosh Giants Tuesday night.
The A’s beat the Giants 9-3.
Going into the seventh inning the A’s led the Giants 4-0.
The Giants were able to pull within one scoring three runs in the seventh.
The A’s answered back scoring two runs in the bottom of the seventh and three in the eighth.
Derek Loomans took the win for the A’s pitching five innings, allowing zero runs, five hits, striking out two and walking one.
Kellen Shea from the Oshkosh Giants took the loss throwing six innings, giving up four runs and eight hits.
