De Pere’s Win Puts Them In First Place Tie

The De Pere Dodgers are tied for first place in the Wisconsin State League with the Lombard Orioles after beating the Oshkosh Giants 20-1 Thursday night.

DE PERE, WI – The Dodgers handed the Giants a big loss Thursday night.

Joe Baier, of the Dodgers, batted four runs in to help get the 20-1 win.

Caleb Schoenholz earned the win for the Dodgers pitching five innings, giving up one run, six hits, striking out nine and walking one.

Joss Ditter took the loss for the Giants pitching three innings, giving up 15 runs and 14 hits.

Noah Robinson, Joe Baier and Zach Abfall each had three hits to lead the Dodgers.

After Thursday’s win, the Dodgers are tied for first in the Wisconsin State League with the Lombard Orioles.
