Lombard scored eight runs in the fourth on its way to an 8-2 victory over the Addison Braves on Tuesday. The Orioles took advantage of several RBI singles, an error and wild pitch to push the eight runs across. As it turns out, that is all they would need in the contest.
Austin Polezoes earned the win for Lombard. He went two innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking zero. Dylan Brambora took the loss for Addison. He threw three and a third innings, surrendering seven runs, six hits, and striking out two.
Austin Morales started the game for Lombard Orioles. He threw two innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking one.
Lombard had ten hits in the game. Carson Bartels, Ricky Angel, and John Carmodyeach collected multiple hits for the Orioles.
Luke Lucchetti led Addison with two hits in three at bats.
