An eight run third inning powered the Lombard Orioles past the Addison Braves Tuesday night at Madison Meadow Park in Lombard.

An eight run third inning powered the Lombard Orioles past the Addison Braves Tuesday night at Madison Meadow Park in Lombard. John Carmody’s two-run blast put the already leading Orioles ahead by six, and by the time the third inning was done, the Orioles had a more than comfortable 11-0 lead. Braves pitcher Ryan Trokey was on the receiving end of the Orioles onslaught, giving up 11 earned runs in just three innings, taking the loss. Mike Kaska got the win for Lombard, going five innings and striking out eight.
