The De Pere Dodgers dropped another game in Wisconsin State League play on Monday night, falling to the Sheboygan A’s, 12-6.

The De Pere Dodgers dropped another game in Wisconsin State League play on Monday night, falling to the Sheboygan A’s, 12-6. The A’s got off to a quick lead on Monday, as TD Walker hit an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning to give Sheboygan a 1-0 lead after one. Walker finished with a game-high four hits. Sheboygan kept the pedal to the metal, scoring three more runs in the third. It was in the fourth inning when the Dodgers responded, as first baseman Sam Kohnle hit his first home run of the year to cut the lead to 3-1. Sheboygan crushed the game wide open in the sixth, scoring a crucial six runs on four hits–including a three-RBI triple by Christian McKelvey–and three walks, giving them a commanding 12-1 lead. In the final three innings, the Dodgers got the bats going, but it proved to not be enough. Sam Kohnle had a two-RBI single in the ninth inning. Kohnle finished 2-for-5 with three RBI.
