After being rained out Saturday, the Orioles and Dodgers took to the field Sunday. As they’ve done all year, the Orioles came out victorious, winning 6-1 and 12-1 in the doubleheader. In game one, Austin Polezoes was credited with the victory for Lombard Orioles. He went four innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Kevin Lane, Jack Spicer, and Austin Waegle all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Sam Kohnle led De Pere Dodgers with two hits in three at-bats. Keith Kerrigan went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Lombard Orioles in hits. In game two, the De Pere Dodgers fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 12-1 loss. Gunner Kay was credited with the victory for Lombard Orioles. He went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking zero. Kyle Pauly and Jack Bellinger entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Griffin Summers took the loss for De Pere Dodgers. He allowed nine hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out two and walking zero. Miggy Villafane started the game for Lombard. He went three innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out four and walking one. Noah Robinson, Mike Manns, and Sam Kohnle each collected one hit to lead De Pere.
