Sheboygan defeats De Pere, Lombard destroys Burlington

Sheboygan 4 – 1 De Pere Dodgers

The Sheboygan A’s were victorious over The De Pere Dodgers Tueday, winning 4-1. Brad Rindfleisch earned the win for Sheboygan. He allowed two hits and zero runs over eight innings, striking out 17. Dale Cetnarowski threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Sheboygan socked one home run on the day by Jake Arens in the fifth inning. Sheboygan collected nine hits over the course of the game. Arens and Jimmy Juergensen both collected multiple hits for Sheboygan. Arens went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Sheboygan in hits. Sheboygan was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Logan Vietmeier made the most plays with 18.

Lombard Orioles 15 – 3 Burlington Barons

John Carmody was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead The Lombard Orioles past The Burlington Barons 15-3 on Tuesday. Carmody drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the second, and a single in the third.

Lombard grabbed an early lead scoring on a single by KC Simonich, and Carmody in the first inning, a single by Ryan-Lin Peistrup, and a double by Kyle Fitzgerald, a sacrifice fly by Simonich, a double by Carmody, and a error in the second inning. Lombard put up six runs in the second inning. Lombard Orioles offense in the inning was led by Peistrup, Fitzgerald, Simonich, Carmody, and Zach Speaker, who all drove in runs.

Luke Lamm was credited with the victory for Lombard. He went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out one. Paul Terelli, Mike Dunn, and Alex Brown all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
