Burlington Barons 5 – 0 Kenosha Kings

The Kenosha Kings fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-0 loss to The Burlington Barons Monday night. Burlington scored on a single by Connor Moroder in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Cal Tully in the second inning.

Burlington got on the board in the first inning. Moroder singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. A single by Travis Vanderwall in the seventh inning was a positive for Kenosha. Karl Richter earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Burlington. He surrendered zero runs on four hits over nine innings, striking out seven and walking zero.
