De Pere sweeps Burlington, Lombard and West Allis split games in double headers

De Pere Dodgers 10 – 0 Burlington Barons, De Pere Dodgers 4 – 3 Burlington Barons

Noah Robinson threw a gem in the first game Saturday for The De Pere Dodgers, allowing zero runs and besting The Burlington Barons by a score of 10-0.
Jake Thyes led De Pere to victory by driving in four runs. He went 2-for-2 at the plate. Thyes drove in runs on a double in the first and a home run in the second.
De Pere got things moving in the first inning scoring two runs when Jayden Adrians doubled. Robinson earned the win for De Pere. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out five.

De Pere took the lead late and defeated Burlington 4-3 in Saturdays second game. The game was tied at three with De Pere batting in the bottom of the sixth when Matthew McNabb singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
De Pere got on the board in the first inning when Jayden Adrians’s sac fly scored one run for De Pere.
After Burlington scored one run in the top of the third, De Pere answered with one of their own. Burlington scored when Paul Archambault singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. De Pere then answered when an error scored one run for De Pere.
Luke Gajewski earned the win for De Pere. He surrendered three runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out five.

Lombard Orioles 9 – 5 West Allis Nationals, Lombard Orioles 4 – 5 West Allis Nationals

The Lombard Orioles won the first game against The West Allis Nationals on Saturday, 9-5. Lombard opened up scoring in the first inning when Kyle Fitzgerald homered.
Kevin Napoleon led Lombard to victory on the hill. He lasted five innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out four. Pete Hamot and Kevin Lane entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Lombard stayed in it until the end, but West Allis pulled away late in a 5-4 victory in the second game Saturday. West Allis was down 4-3 in the top of the sixth inning when an error scored two runs for West Allis.
Lombard lost despite out-hitting West Allis eight to five.
Lombard got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Lombard.
Rob Zolecki was the winning pitcher for West Allis. He allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Nick Bingham threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Bingham recorded the last three outs to earn the save for West Allis.
