Name Change
The De Pere Dodgers are no more. Welcome to the Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons.
An identity change that has been in motion for the past year will finalize this offseason as De Pere makes the switch. The team will continue to play at Joannes Stadium in Green Bay. New logos will be revealed later this offseason.M
Leave of Absence
The Oshkosh Giants and West Bend 7 Up will continue their leave of absences from WSL play. The Giants still continue to operate with a Board of Directors and are hoping to rejoin in 2020.
West Bend remains a member of the Land O’ Lakes league and Southeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. Uncertainty with upcoming stadium renovations was one of the factors in determining to remain on the leave. West Bend will re-evaluate their situation after 2020 with the hope of rejoining the WSL fulltime in 2021.
Schedule Remains the Same
The WSL regular season will again be 30 games, with each team playing all others five times. The annual WSL Challenge, a weekend in Sheboygan where all WSL teams gather to play neutral site games, has been moved from July to June 12-14.
