On Thursday, the Addison Braves and Kenosha Kings battled at Addison Community Park in Illinois. The Braves defeated the Kings 12-2 and racked up their runs early in the game. In the first inning, infielder Jack Hines walked and advanced to second and third base on singles hit by Neil Freeman and Cy Gerber, which allowed Hines to eventually score a run. A 2-RBI double in the second inning from Ben Espinoza and a fly ball hit by Hines, which was ruled an error by Kings left fielder Adam Cairo, ultimately scored Espinoza, putting the Braves up 4-0.

The Kings made an attempt to battle back in the 7th inning when catcher Riley Hughes walked to get on base and Aaron Schauer hit a line-drive double to right field scoring Hughes. Another line drive to right field from Zack Paczocha scored Schauer giving the Kings the only 2 runs they were able to put on the board.
