Nationals Throttle Kings 18-3

The West Allis Nationals got ahead of what would be an incredibly high scoring game early against the Kenosha Kings on Tuesday night. The final score after seven innings played was 18-3, with West Allis taking the win on Kenosha’s field.

The West Allis Nationals got ahead of what would be an incredibly high scoring game early against the Kenosha Kings on Tuesday night. The final score after seven innings played was 18-3, with West Allis taking the win on Kenosha’s field.

It all started with a double, hit by infielder Bryce Toussiant in the first inning followed up with a single, hit by Daryl Meyers which inescapably scored Toussiant. The Nationals continued to put runs on the board with a big second inning that began with a homer to right field hit by Aaron Goecks. Afterwards, four consecutive singles hit by Logan Rezash, Savier Pinales, Christian McKelvey, and Tyrese Mitchell scored another two runs. West Allis was able to score two more runs in this inning giving them a significant lead 6-0.

The Nationals continued their streak of aggressive offensiveness putting up six more runs in the third inning and an additional run in the fourth inning giving them a total of 13 runs, with Kenosha still scoreless. Kenosha finally put up two runs in the fourth inning fueled by three walks and singles hit by Tony Neuman and Trey Leonard.

The Nationals were able to score in every inning which ultimately led to their 18 runs scored in a total of seven innings, with 17 hits and no errors. Kenosha was able to achieve six hits but this only gave them three runs on the night which led to their loss.
