The Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons were unable to prevail against the Burlington Barons on their home field with a game that ended in a final score of 5-3.

The Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons were unable to prevail against the Burlington Barons on their home field with a game that ended in a final score of 5-3. Burlington’s Connor Kelly earned the win for the Barons, and Zach Watzka took the loss for Green Bay. Although Green Bay scored a run in the first inning on a sac fly hit by Matt Bald, Burlington pulled ahead in the third inning and scored consecutively in the fourth and fifth innings giving them their final five runs. Bald went 2-for-3 on the night and hit a single in the sixth inning that assisted in Green Bay’s two additional runs scored but it was unfortunately not enough and Burlington came out with a victory.
