The Kenosha Kings fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-0 loss to Lombard Orioles on Wednesday. Lombard took the lead on a home run in the second inning and never looked back. The Kings struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lombard Orioles, giving up 14 runs. Mike McGraith led the Lombard Orioles to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three and walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Mike Sullivan, Jake Kmieck, Nick Bonk, and Paul Turelli all securing outs and ultimately the victory. Brennan Ray took the loss for Kenosha. He surrendered four runs on five hits over five innings, striking out four.
