The A’s beat the Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons by a 12-2 score at Wildwood Park Friday night to finish 16-7 in the WSL, good for second place. Greater Green Bay scored first in the third inning, but the A’s answered that run with a 5-spot and the race was on. Doug Coe had a long home run and a single; Ross Krist (the team’s leading hitter) had a double, triple, and sacrifice fly; Colin Butkiewicz a pair of doubles and Sam Nemetz two hits. But the story of the game was A’s starter Brad Reindfleisch, who went seven innings, allowed four hits and fanned 11.
