All-Leauge Teams For 2020 Season Announced

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin State League announced its major award winners for the 2020 season. Today, the league is announcing the first and second all-league teams, as voted on by the Wisconsin State League's General Managers and league personnel.
On Tuesday, the Wisconsin State League announced its major award winners for the 2020 season. Today, the league is announcing the first and second all-league teams, as voted on by the Wisconsin State League’s General Managers and league personnel.
Six of the league’s seven teams are represented on this year’s list, as players from Burlington, Greater Green Bay, Kenosha, Lombard, Sheboygan and West Allis have all been honored.
In addition, the league has also announced the runner-ups to the major award winners.
Most Valuable Player: Jake Novak (Lombard Orioles)
Runner-Up: Ross Krist (Sheboygan A’s)
Most Valuable Pitcher: Brad Rindfleisch (Sheboygan A’s)
Runner-Up: Eric Schmitz (Sheboygan A’s)
Rookie of the Year (Player): Jake Novak (Lombard Orioles)
Runner-Up: Colin Butkiewicz (Sheboygan A’s)
Rookie of the Year (Pitcher): Zack Jones (Addison Braves)

The WSL Winter Meeting is TENTATIVELY scheduled to begin at 1:30pm on Saturday January 30th, 2021 at Blue Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sheboygan, WI.
The Annual Banquet is also TENTATIVELY set for that night, subject to confirmation of viability given the pandemic. Should the banquet take place, cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM, with dinner to follow at 6 PM and the awards presentations to all major-award winners and all-league members.
The Wisconsin State League is one of the premier semi-professional/amateur baseball leagues in the mid-west. In operation since 1970, the Wisconsin State League is a highly competitive league that features many of the midwest's top current and former collegiate athletes, as well as many former professional baseball players.
