After eight more games in the Wisconsin State League over the weekend, things remained pretty stagnate in the standings.

The Lombard Orioles continued their impressive start to the season with a doubleheader sweep of Burlington Saturday by scores of 10-0 and 3-1 in Lombard. For the season, the Orioles have outscored their opponents 119-17.

The Barons would bounce back on Sunday, sweeping the Addison Braves by scores of 4-0 and 7-6 in Burlington. The wins helped the Barons keep pace with the Kenosha Kings, who are tied for third in the standings. The losses for the Braves extended their WSL losing streaking to four, and they fell to the bottom of the standings.

The Kenosha Kings retained their spot in third place after a Sunday doubleheader split with the Sheboygan A’s. The A’s took game one 4-2 and the Kings took the rubber match 3-1. The A’s sit a half-game behind Kenosha and Burlington, but all three are tied in the loss column with seven.

The Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons were able to split with the WSL’s second-place team, the West Allis Nationals Saturday in Green Bay. That and coupled with the Braves’ Sunday losses helped them leap-frog the Braves to move out of the cellar. The Nationals remain firmly in second place in the standings.
