Barons Score Early in Win Over Kenosha

The Burlington Barons bounced back from a Monday loss in Kenosha to beat Kenosha at home 8-3 Tuesday.

The Burlington Barons scored two in the first, three in the second, and two in the fourth to jump out to an early lead against Kenosha Tuesday, a lead they would keep throughout the game and win 8-3. Leadoff hitter Danny Peterson set the pace at the plate for the Barons, going 4-4 on the night. Zach Campbell also did his part offensively, driving in three of the Barons’ eight runs. Isaiah Cerfus started on the hill for Burlington, going six innings and striking out nine.
