The Lombard Orioles remain undefeated this season, while the Sheboygan A's were able to knock off the West Allis Nationals Thursday night.

Lombard Orioles 12, Addison Braves 1

The Lombard Orioles perfect WSL season continued Thursday night with a 12-1 run-rule victory over the Addison Braves. In what has been standard for the O’s this season, they heavily outscored and out-hit their opponent, limiting the Braves to just two hits while collecting 14 of their own. Orioles starting pitcher John Vesevick pitched the first four innings, striking out eight before single-inning relief appearances from Jake Kmieck, Tanner Shears, and Jon Tieman. Offensively for Lombard, six extra-base hits led the charge, including five doubles and a home run.

Sheboygan A’s 3, West Allis Nationas 2

Behind a 141 pitch complete-game effort by Joey Pettit, the Sheboygan A’s knocked off the West Allis Nationals 3-2 Thursday night. The A’s offense did all their damage in their first trip to the plate. Five straight singles with one out, helped by a West Allis error, accounted for all three A’s runs. Pettit pitched four different three-up, three-down innings in his nine innings of work. He struck out 11 and issued only three free passes.
