A tightly contested contest went to the Blue Ribbons Tuesday night as they beat the A’s 7-6. Tied entering the bottom half of the sixth, Trent Van Ess reached on an error that scored Griffin Summers to take the lead for good. The Blue Ribbons made good use of their bullpen, as four different pitchers came into the game. Tyler Blum was credited with the win. The Blue Ribbons used five extra-base hits in the winning effort, including four doubles and a triple.
