The Blue Ribbons whipped on the A's Monday night, posting 12 hits and capitalizing on five A's errors in a 13-1 victory.

The Blue Ribbons whipped on the A’s Monday night, posting 12 hits and capitalizing on five A’s errors in a 13-1 victory. Seven out of the nine Blue Ribbons starters collected hits in the contest, with four having multi-hit games. The Blue Ribbons got things started early with a two-run first inning. The A’s scored their lone run in the bottom of of the first before the Blue Ribbons started putting the game away in the fifth, scoring four, followed by one, three, and three-run innings for the mercy-rule victory. Alec Danen collected the victory for the Blue Ribbons, lasting five innings, allowing four hits, and striking out four.
