The Kenosha Kings will move on to the second round of the Wisconsin State League's step-ladder playoffs after a 10-0 victory over the Burlington Barons Tuesday night in Burlington.

The Kenosha Kings will move on to the second round of the Wisconsin State League’s step-ladder playoffs after a 10-0 victory over the Burlington Barons Tuesday night in Burlington. Thomas Coffey pitched a complete game two-hit shutout, striking out six, for the victory. The Kings piled up 15 hits in the lopsided victory. Their first run came right away in the top of the first inning and they didn’t look back. They sealed the deal with a five-run sixth. Zack Paczocha and Aaron Schauer each had three-hit games while Graham Wick hit a triple. The Kings will now travel to Sheboygan Wednesday night for round two of the step-ladder playoffs.
