Nationals Halt Burlington’s Win Streak with Huge Victory

Quinton Morris hit a grand slam and a double in a third-inning Tuesday night that saw the Nationals send 11 runners home on their way to a 22-4 victory over the red-hot Burlington Barons.

Quinton Morris hit a grand slam and a double in a third-inning Tuesday night that saw the Nationals send 11 runners home on their way to a 22-4 victory over the red-hot Burlington Barons. Morris finished with seven runs batted in. He was joined by teammates Jonah Meidl and Dalton Madsen (three RBI each), plus Logan Rademan, Brian Huntzinger, and Jacob Kaiser (two RBI each) to lead the high-powered offensive outburst. Bryce Spaulding got the victory, going six innings, striking gout six. Anthony Touhy took the tough loss for Burlingon.
