Orioles Jump Out to Early Lead to Win Over Kenosha

Eric Hughes drove in four and the Orioles' offense scored 12 in the first three innings as the first-place O's defeated the Kenosha Kings 12-1 Wednesday.

Lombard Orioles 12, Kenosha Kings 1

Eric Hughes drove in four and the Orioles’ offense scored 12 in the first three innings as the first-place O’s defeated the Kenosha Kings 12-1 Wednesday. Four different Orioles batters had multi-hit games, while Manager Jeff Vukovich used four different pitchers to keep Kenosha off balance at the plate, surrendering only two hits, a single in the first and another single in the third. The O’s got extra-base hits from Jack Blazevich and Bobby Grimes.
