Nationals Sweep Braves, Move Back into Second

The Addison Braves were swept at the hand of the West Allis Nationals Saturday, with the Nationals winning 11-1 and 5-4.

The Addison Braves were swept at the hand of the West Allis Nationals Saturday, with the Nationals winning 11-1 and 5-4. The Nationals outhit the Braves 10-2 in game one, scoring six in the second and tacking on two more in the fourth and fifth and one more in the sixth for the run-rule victory. Chris Byhre got the win, allowing just two hits and striking out five. The Nationals had to come from behind to take game two, scoring two in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead for good. Dave Mitchell had three hits and two RBI for the Braves in the losing effort as Addison outhit the Nationals 9-7.
