Barons Close Out WSL Regular Season with Victory

The Burlington Barons used seven hits to help drive in eight runs to close out the regular season with an 8-1 victory over Kenosha Saturday.

The Burlington Barons used seven hits to help drive in eight runs to close out the regular season with an 8-1 victory over Kenosha Saturday. Danny Peterson had two of the seven hits while teammate Joe Zuleger had four RBI in five quality at-bats. Preston Piranio pitched the complete game for the victory. For the Kings, it also concluded their 2022 Wisconsin State League season, finishing at the bottom of the standings.
