The field is set for the 2023 Wisconsin State League’s step-ladder playoffs, which will determine who advances to the Wisconsin Class A State Tournament August 5-6 in Marinette, WI.

The defending State Champion West Allis Nationals receive an automatic birth into the tournament as the defending champions.

Joining them will be the winner of the step-ladder tournament, which will feature the Sheboygan A’s (#1 seed), Kenosha Kings (#2 seed), and Burlington Barons (#3 seed). The Green Bay Blue Ribbons will take part in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League’s qualification due to travel proximity. All step-ladder games will be seven innings in length.

The State Tournament will be a four-team double-elimination style format.

West Allis will face the NEWBL’s qualifier on 12 PM Saturday in Marinette in game one, followed by the Kewaskum A’s (host team of the tournament) hosting the WSL qualifier at 2:30 PM in game two.
