The Wisconsin State League has announced that Chris Tentoni has been named the league’s new Chief Statistician.
The Wisconsin State League has announced that Chris Tentoni has been named the league’s new Chief Statistician.
Tentoni has served as the official scorekeeper for the West Allis Nationals since they joined the Wisconsin State League in 2015. Before that, he served as an official scorekeeper for multiple baseball leagues throughout southeast Wisconsin, including a stint as Chief Statistician for the Frank Langsdorf Baseball League of Southeast Wisconsin.
Chris has been scoring baseball games for over thirty years, beginning the task while playing as a reserve outfielder at West Allis Central High School. He is well known for his impartiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Tentoni is a graduate of UW-Whitewater (Finance) and earned his Master’s degree from UW-Milwaukee (Finance Analysis). He works as an investment accountant in the Milwaukee area.
“I’m excited to get to work,” said Tentoni. “This is one of the top summer baseball leagues in the Midwest, and I’m humbled to be chosen for this position. I’m looking forward to working with all of the teams to ensure that our league statistics are reported accurately and in a timely fashion.”
The Wisconsin State League is one of the premier semi-professional/amateur baseball leagues in the mid-west. In operation since 1970, the Wisconsin State League is a highly competitive league that features many of the midwest's top current and former collegiate athletes, as well as many former professional baseball players.
