The Heavy Hitters struggled against the dominant West Allis Nationals, falling 24-1 on Thursday at Beaumont Field in Burlington, WI.

The Heavy Hitters struggled against the dominant West Allis Nationals, falling 24-1 on Thursday at Beaumont Field in Burlington, WI. Logan Pye’s three-run double in the first set the tone for the Nationals, who continued to build their lead with a three-run homer by Joe Zuleger in the second. Dalton Madsen and Jonah Meidl contributed with multi-RBI hits in the third and fourth innings, respectively. Dallan Lopez took the loss for the Heavy Hitters, allowing seven runs over two innings, while Bryce Spaulding earned the win for the Nationals with three solid innings. The Nationals amassed 19 hits, with Madsen leading the way with six RBIs. The Heavy Hitters’ Emiliano Ramos managed one RBI, but the team couldn’t keep up with the Nationals’ offensive onslaught.
