Colin Jensen drove in four runs on two hits, including a solo homer, to power the Kenosha Kings past the Lombard Orioles 12-9 on Wednesday at Madison Meadow Park in Lombard, IL. The high-scoring affair saw the Kings collect nine hits while the Orioles amassed 15. Kenosha opened the scoring with home runs from Jared Bujdos and Jensen. Despite the Orioles tying the game in the eighth and ninth innings, the Kings regained the lead in the tenth with key walks and a single from Howie Rodriguez. Casey Grimm started for the Kings, allowing two runs over five innings. Bujdos, Jensen, and Rodriguez each had two hits, and the Kings drew 10 walks in total. The Orioles’ offense was led by Brandon Schultz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Kings.
