Kings Overpower Heavy Hitters in DH Sweep

The long ball was going for Kenosha on Saturday as they swept their doubleheader with Milwaukee.

Luke Jackson powered Kenosha past Milwaukee 9-4 on Saturday in game one of their doubleheader, hitting two home runs and driving in four. Milwaukee initially led with a two-run double from Yandel Lopez, but Jackson’s solo homer in the second and three-run homer in the third put Kenosha ahead. The Kings extended their lead with a double from Dylan Procopio and a two-run homer by Lee in the fourth, followed by a two-run homer from Julio Caigas in the fifth. Kenosha tallied 12 hits, with Caigas leading with three.
Kenosha Kings 13, Milwaukee Heavy Hitters 3
Bryan Reyes drove in four runs on two hits to lead Kenosha past Milwaukee 13-3 in game two. Reyes hit a three-run home run in the fourth and walked in a run in the fifth. Kenosha’s eight-run fourth inning included a two-run homer from Plash and RBI hits from Pahilla, Branden Erb, Bocehino, and Reyes. Erb also homered in the first. Luke Jackson earned the win, allowing three runs over four innings with seven strikeouts. Max Graetz took the loss for Milwaukee.
