Bats were blistered as the Kenosha Kings outshone the West Allis Nationals 9-8 on Thursday. Jared Bujdos led the way for the Kings with three hits, including a home run in the sixth inning. A five-run fifth inning, highlighted by Luke Jackson’s grand slam, gave the Kings a commanding lead. Despite a six-run eighth inning rally by the Nationals, the Kings held on for the win. Tom Conzemius earned the victory, allowing one unearned run over five innings. Garrett Kay led the Nationals with three RBIs, including a three-run homer. Seven of the eight Nationals runs came in the final two innings. The two teams combined for eight errors.
