The 2024 Class A Semi Pro Baseball Championship Tournament begins Saturday at Beaumont Field in Burlington.

The 2024 Class A Semi Pro Baseball Championship Tournament begins Saturday at Beaumont Field in Burlington. Four games are scheduled, starting at noon, and followed by games at 2:30, 5:00 and 7:30.  Sunday’s slate begins at 11am, followed by championship games at 1:30 and 4:00.

The 2024 field includes the defending 2023 champion Kenosha Kings and the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League’s 2024 regular season champion Green Bay Blue Ribbons. Also in the field as qualifiers are the Kewaskum A’s of the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League, and the West Allis Nationals of the Wisconsin State League.

“We expect tight competition,” says Steve Elliott, Tournament Director. “Class A teams play each other during the regular season and the rivalries are steeped in tradition.

Burlington’s Beaumont Field was chosen as host for this year’s tournament based on the quality of its playing surface, player amenities, fan amenities, and proven operational excellence. Prior hosts of the Class A Championship Tournament include West Bend, Green Bay, Appleton, Marinette, and Sheboygan.

The four-team, double-elimination tournament gets underway Saturday.

The Wisconsin State League is one of the premier semi-professional/amateur baseball leagues in the mid-west.
