Lombard steadily pulled away behind a balanced offensive effort and strong bullpen work to defeat Addison 7-1. Vince Spatofora opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first, and John Fleaka gave the Orioles the lead for good with a sacrifice fly in the fourth. Seven different players drove in runs, and Lombard drew nine walks to support the attack. The Orioles used six pitchers, who combined for seven shutout innings after the first, allowing just two hits on the day.
