The Wisconsin State Baseball League (WSL) has announced its schedule for the 2026 summer season, marking another year of competitive semi-professional baseball across the Midwest.
The Wisconsin State Baseball League (WSL) has announced its schedule for the 2026 summer season, marking another year of competitive semi-professional baseball across the Midwest.
The 2026 WSL regular season will begin on Saturday, May 30, when the Addison Braves host the West Allis Nationals in a doubleheader at Addison Community Park in Addison, Illinois. The regular season will run through Monday, July 27, when the final league games are scheduled to be played.
Each of the league’s six teams will face one another five times during the season, resulting in a 25-game Wisconsin State League schedule that will determine the 2026 WSL regular season champion.
The 2026 WSL Round-Robin Tournament, featuring the Wisconsin-based teams of the league (excluding Addison and Lombard), will take place August 1–2 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event will showcase some of the league’s top teams and serve as a postseason highlight to conclude the WSL campaign.
Several weekends throughout the summer will feature multiple league matchups, with particularly busy slates on June 13 (Wisconsin State League Challenge in Sheboygan) and June 20, when all teams will be in action across the league.
The Wisconsin State League (WSL), also known as the Wisconsin State Baseball League, was established in 1970 and is widely regarded as one of the premier semi-professional baseball leagues in the Midwest.
The league showcases many of the region’s top players, including current college athletes, former collegiate standouts, and players with professional baseball experience.
The league currently includes six active franchises: the Addison (Illinois) Braves, Green Bay Blue Ribbons, Kenosha Kings, Lombard (Illinois) Orioles, Sheboygan A’s, and the West Allis Nationals.
