Kenosha scored all three of its runs in the third inning and made the lead stand up in a 3-1 victory over Addison. After both teams were held scoreless through the first two innings, JT Reed opened the third with a single and came home on Jack Ryan’s RBI double. The Kings loaded the bases with walks to Jared Bujdos and Aaron Hurd before Josh Kellogg delivered a two-run single to left, scoring Ryan and Bujdos for a 3-0 advantage. Addison broke through in the fourth when Connor Peckham singled, Hunter Johnson walked, and Benjamin Greary followed with a base hit before Lincoln Hamid was hit by a pitch to force home a run. The Braves threatened again in the sixth, loading the bases with two walks and a passed ball, but Kenosha escaped the jam without allowing a run. Ryan finished 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, walk, and stolen base, while Kellogg drove in two runs for the Kings. Joel Perry earned the victory, striking out eight while allowing one run over five innings, and Michael Stellmack and Joseph Jaco combined for two scoreless innings of relief, with Jaco striking out the side in the seventh to secure the win.
