West Allis erased an early six-run deficit, scoring four runs in the second, two in the third, and six in the fourth to rally past Addison 12-8 in the opener of Saturday’s doubleheader. The Braves built a 6-0 lead through the top of the second before West Allis chipped away, tied the game at 6-6 in the third, and answered Addison’s two-run top of the fourth with a six-run bottom half to take the lead for good. Jayson Randolph collected two hits and drove in two runs, while Jonah Meidl added one hit and three RBIs. Nick Argersinger chipped in two RBIs for the Nationals. Lincoln Hamid paced the Braves by going 2-for-3 with a home run, while Peter Visconti II had two hits, including a double, and Brock Harer and Nick Price also doubled. Santino Pignotti-Wojtak earned the win with 3⅓ hitless innings of relief, striking out five while allowing just one walk.

After dropping the opener, Addison responded by rallying from an early deficit to earn a split of Saturday’s doubleheader with a 9-5 victory over West Allis. The Nationals scored twice in the first and added two more in the second to build a 4-1 lead before the Braves chipped away with two runs in the fourth. West Allis extended its advantage to 5-3 in the fifth, but Addison answered immediately, tying the game with two runs in the sixth on an RBI groundout by Combs and an RBI single from Lincoln Hamid. The Braves then broke the game open with four runs in the seventh as Hunter Johnson delivered an RBI double, Combs drew a bases-loaded walk, Lincoln Hamid was hit by a pitch to force in another run, and Lewis Barbour scored on a wild pitch. Johnson finished 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Hamid drove in two runs and Combs added three RBIs despite going hitless. Peter Visconti II scored twice and stole two bases, while Barbour crossed the plate three times. West Allis was led by Tanner Hraby, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Ryan Lemm, Max Montgomery, Rob Coe and Jonah Meidl all doubled. Combs earned the win in relief, allowing one run over the final 2⅓ innings while striking out one.
