The Kenosha Kings pounded out 23 hits and cruised to a 14-3 Langsdorf League victory over the Milwaukee Angels on Tuesday night at Harden Field.

The Kenosha Kings pounded out 23 hits and cruised to a 14-3 Langsdorf League victory over the Milwaukee Angels on Tuesday night at Harden Field.

After the Kings scored six runs in the eighth inning, the game was called due to the 10-run rule.

Kenosha (22-15, 10-6 Langsdorf) scored five runs in the first inning and never looked back.

Rob Novotny went 4-for-6 with an RBI for the Kings. Other offensive leaders were Joe Ferro (3-for-5, four RBI), Andrew Highland (3-for-5), Kyle Frye (2-for-3, two RBI) and Brad Medina (2-for-5, two RBI).

Andrew Paulauskas (2-0) picked up the victory after giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits in seven innings. He walked two and struck out nine.

The Kings return to action with a Langsdorf League game against the West Allis Nationals 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Simmons Field.
