Oshkosh sweeps two from Addison

The Oshkosh Giants swept a doubleheader against Addison, winning 6-1 in the first game and 11-7 in the second game in Addison on Saturday.
ADDISON, ILL. – The Oshkosh Giants swept a doubleheader against Addison, winning 6-1 in the first game and 11-7 in the second game in Addison on Saturday.
Travis Sindles led the way for the Giants in game one on the mound, throwing a complete game five hitter, allowing just one run in the second inning. He also struck out six in victory.
He was helped at the plate by two three-hit games from Trey Demler and Michael Swift. Demler had a double and drove in six for the Giants, while Swift also added a double.
In game two, Oshkosh grabbed a big lead and held on to pick up the win.
The Giants opened up a 7-2 lead thanks to a five-run fifth inning.
Robbie Kleman led Oshkosh at the plate in game two, going 3-for-5 with a double and 4 RBI’s. Demler added another hit and two RBI’s
James Lacy picked up the win throwing three innings. Kleman picked up the save in the seventh inning.
