Sheboygan closes out game early Thursday night vs West Allis
Sheboygan A’s 8 – 3 West Allis Nationals
The Sheboygan A’s were in a close match with The West Allis Nationals on Thursday until the bottom of the 8th where The A’s scored 4 runes and won to the tune of 8-3.
Drew Nuanes led the The A’s to victory on the hill. He allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking one. Brad Rindfleisch and Ben Folger entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Rindfleisch recorded the last five outs to earn the save for The A’s.
Mark Wanner led The A’s with two hits in three at bats. The A’s didn’t commit a single error in the field. Alex Dee had ten chances in the field, the most on the team. The A’s four runs in the eighth inning were rallied by a walk from Josh Gates and a single by Drew Lechnir.
