The A’s beat the Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons by a 12-2 score at Wildwood Park Friday night to finish 16-7 in the WSL, good for second place. Greater Green Bay scored first in the third inning, but the A’s answered that run with a 5-spot and the race was on. Doug Coe had a long home run and a single; Ross Krist (the team’s leading hitter) had a double, triple, and sacrifice fly; Colin Butkiewicz a pair of doubles and Sam Nemetz two hits. But the story of the game was A’s starter Brad Reindfleisch, who went seven innings, allowed four hits and fanned 11. From the fourth through the seventh innings, he retired 12 straight batsmen.
