The West Allis Nationals moved into second place in the WSL standings Thursday with a 4-1 win over Kenosha.

DJ Hess threw six innings, striking out eight and scattering four hits as the West Allis Nationals defeated the Kenosha Kings Thursday night, 4-1 at Simmons Field in Kenosha. The victory moves the Nationals into second place in the Wisconsin State League standings, ahead of Burlington and trailing Lombard. Tristan Ellis’s solo home run in the fourth tied the game for West Allis. They then scored runs via an error, hit by pitch, and a walk throughout the rest of the night. Ben Masoglia was 2-2 with a walk to lead the Kings offense.
