As the calendar turns to spring, preparations for the 2021 season are ramping up. Today, the Wisconsin State League has released the 2021 summer schedule.

After discussions with league officials, the Wisconsin State League has announced its decision to postpone the Hall of Fame Banquet, originally scheduled for January 30, 2021.

“My goal was to throw a shutout every single game,” said Olson. “I was kind of upset if I didn’t.”

Ricky Angell, Steve Kostichka, Jared Koutnik, Jon Olson and Jeff Schmitz will join the Wisconsin State League Hall of Fame as the Class of 2020.

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin State League announced its major award winners for the 2020 season. Today, the league is announcing the first and second all-league teams, as voted on by the Wisconsin State League’s General Managers and league personnel.

The Wisconsin State Baseball League has revealed the recipients of the WSL Most Valuable Player, WSL Most Valuable Pitcher, WSL Rookie Player of the Year, WSL Rookie Pitcher of the Year and WSL Manager of the Year awards for the 2020 season. Winners were determined by a vote of League general managers and personnel.

The former Lombard Orioles infielder who played at North Central had a .389 batting average during his collegiate career.
