The Sheboygan A's semipro baseball team won its season opener Thursday night, racking up 14 hits in an 11-3 victory over Two Rivers at Wildwood Baseball Park.

Eric Schumacher struck out 10 in his Kenosha Kings' debut as the team defeated the Milwaukee Beavers 8-2 in the Langsdorf League opener Thursday night at Simmons Field.
